Gothic symbols are outfits worn to add extra glamour to ones personality. Each has got its own meaning and effect. It can be used to adorn anything from your hairclip to shoes. Some wear these symbols upside down to get the reverse effect.

When it comes to gothic symbols you can actually find quite a few of them. The great thing is that all these symbols have different meanings and effects. Many people wear them just to get some of these specific effects in their life. If you know nothing about gothic symbols, here are some popular ones:

Pentagram, five pointed star with the goat’s head: This is a very powerful symbol of Satanism and witchcraft.

Ankh: It looks similar to the Christian cross. It is the symbol of eternal life and it has got strong cultural significance.

Cross: It is the oldest and widely used symbol. They are usually dark and are popular among gothic and vampire cultures.
